Born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, Gheorghe got his culinary start when he was young, learning from his uncle in the kitchen. At 14, Gheorghe began his cooking career at the Intercontinental Hotel in Bucharest while attending culinary school. Gheorghe trained under master chefs and competed around the world, giving him the opportunity to improve his skills and learn about different cultures and cuisines. 

Gheorghe moved to the United States and became a US citizen in 2006. He began working at The St. Paul Grill as Sous Chef in 2011 and has worked his way to Executive Chef.

Yes, valet service is available at the entrance to The Saint Paul Hotel.
There are several nearby paid parking options, including Lawson Ramp, Landmark Towers Parking Ramp, and ample street parking in the areas around The St. Paul Grill.
No, we do not validate parking.
We do not use 3rd party delivery services. The cuisine at The St. Paul Grill is not meant to travel; it is meant to be enjoyed immediately after being served.
While reservations are not required, they are strongly encouraged, as we often reach service capacity. Reservations can be made on The St. Paul Grill website, or by calling 651.224.7455.
Seating in our bar area is open, and first-come-first-served.
Yes. Our corkage fee is $35 for a standard 750ml bottle of wine. Wines present on The St. Paul Grill wine list are not permitted.
The 4% surcharge on your bill contributes to the restaurant’s efforts to provide wages and benefits to attract and retain the talented team members who deliver your guest experience. The surcharge applied to your bill is not a server gratuity, is not obligatory, and will be removed from your bill by your server if requested.
